Children already have thousands of wonderful toys available to them. What makes RTT so special is that a lone child can play and interact with another child using peripheral devices.  For example, an ailing young boy in the hospital, isolated from children his own age can suddenly be offered a toy that not only moves, but is being moved by another child.  Not an adult, not a machine, but a reaction and action that only the children can understand in their world of imagination.

This kind of social interaction is priceless.  Imagine this lonely little boy moving a toy truck, and having that truck move and be moved consequently by his cousin, or his schoolmate. Imagine their laughter and amazement. Toys like these would represent relationships, and children will grow tired of them less quickly. Educational implications are also evident, and plentiful.
